Tenure-track Assistant Professor, Latinx Religions
The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies at California State University, Bakersfield, seeks to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position in Latinx religions. The successful candidate will teach courses in contemporary Latin American religion focusing on lived religion. Desired areas of competency include Indigenous Religions, New Religious Movements, and/or Social Justice. Normal teaching load is four courses per semester, with a reduced load of three courses per semester in the first two years. Ph.D. required at time of appointment, August 2020.
