SSSR 2025 Networking Lunch

Registration is now open for the Networking Luncheon on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 12:15-1:10pm at the SSSR+RRA 2025 Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  This luncheon is complimentary for all meeting attendees, but you must register online for the luncheon by October 15, 2025. Registrations received after October 15 will not be accepted.

The SSSR strategic plan prioritizes networking opportunities as a way to welcome and incorporate new attendees, especially those who are not sociologists, are based outside of Canada and the United States, and add to our diversity. This event will bring together attendees around shared interests.

When you register for the Networking Luncheon, please indicate your research interest(s) so we can create themed tables using the most common topics. Sandwiches will be available beginning at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, November 1. If you require gluten-free bread or have another dietary restriction that precludes you from being able to eat any of the menu choices, please contact the SSSR Executive Office at office@sssreligion.org.

The menu choices are:

Roasted Beef / smoked cheddar, lettuce, and tomato on a pretzel roll

Roasted Turkey / swiss, lettuce, and tomato on a hoagie

Greek Vegetable Wrap / red pepper hummus, romaine, cucumber, tomato, olives in a tortilla (vegan)

Caprese / vine ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, pesto, and spinach on ciabatta (vegetarian)

All lunches include a soft drink or bottled water.
