The Chair of Religious Freedom and Consciousness at the Ramon Llull University, established within the framework of the Blanquerna Observatory of Communication, Religion and Culture, is a research and dissemination space whose main objective is to study and analyze the situation of religious freedom and conscience in Catalonia.

- Present good local, regional or international practices in managing religious diversity and promoting religious freedom and conscience.
- Analyze the international standards for assessing the exercise of the right to religious freedom and conscience and prevention of their violations.
- Create a debate of experts and managers of international organizations on the international situation and trends of religious freedom and conscience, as well as on methodologies, categories and indicators for analyzing the reality of religious freedom, and the concept of religion in a post-secular world.

CALL FOR COMMUNICATIONS
Academic communication proposals to participate in the Congress must include a summary with the main conclusions of the article and the methodology (maximum 500 words), as well as the affiliation/institution to which the author belongs.
Academic communication proposals to participate in the Congress must include a summary with the main conclusions of the article and the methodology (maximum 500 words), as well as the affiliation/institution to which the author belongs.
Practical proposals that explain religious freedom initiatives, promoting interreligious and interconviction dialogue are also welcome. Also in this case, a summary of what will be presented of a maximum of 500 words and the institution of the author/s is requested.
Proposals can be sent until March 31, 2024 to catedrallibertatreligiosa@blanquerna.url.edu. All proposals (accepted or rejected) will receive an answer before the month of May 2024 after a committee has evaluated them.
The Congress will begin on the night of June 5, 2024 with a welcome drink. On June 6, it will continue with different presentations and close that same afternoon.
When registering for the Congress, it will be necessary to indicate whether any communication/initiative is presented. URL students and staff (degree, master or doctorate) will enjoy a discount. Everyone will be given a certificate of attendance, and those who present a communication will be given a certificate stating that they have presented a communication to the Congress.
